Minuet Crochet & knit’s first crochet along starts today!!

In August, I hosted my first ever KAL (knit along) with the first knitting pattern I ever wrote, Pizzazz Socks. That KAL was a great success thanks to all of you! I am really looking forward to beginning this CAL!

The new pattern is called “Twill’s Boot Cuffs“. Unlike the first KAL, which was a mystery, for this CAL, you will know what the final product will look like from the beginning. Take a look at the photos below!

Picking a button that pairs nicely with your boots adds a lovely finishing touch!

The pattern is written in sizes small 14-15" calf, medium 16-17" calf, large 18-19" calf, and x-large 20-21" calf.

This CAL begins today! So go ahead and pick out your yarn, download the pattern, and start crocheting!

The best part of a CAL or KAL is that others are working on the same project as well. Be sure to post pictures not only of the final product, but also your progress along the way! It is fun to see what yarns others pick out and how their projects work up. The buttons are going to be the biggest variable in this project. Every pair of boot cuffs will have their own unique look.

Experienced crocheters will be able to whip these up fairly quickly. If you make more than one pair, be sure to post individual projects on Ravelry of each one! I’m looking forward to seeing all of your projects!!

Happy crocheting!
